08 Nov The Poetry of Poverty

Come enjoy an afternoon of spoken word, film, music and dance by our very own Wave-makers (including middle school students from the Making Waves Academy)! The students of RAW Talent will use performance art to tell the stories of those who are usually silenced; to explore the roots of poverty and how it impacts them personally.

It will be a show full of beautiful words, ugly truths and community healing- we will laugh, we will cry, and together we will move towards a more just future for Richmond. Please support the arts and the youth by joining us!
