A panel of medical and veterans’ affairs experts will discuss military toxic exposures Wednesday at noon on the “Veterans’ Voices” program on Contra Costa Television.
The panel will examine the toxins that veterans were potentially exposed to as determined by when and where they served. Panelists will also provide advice to veterans about getting treatment and obtaining any benefits they might be entitled to related to toxic exposure.
Guests will include Dr. Edda I. Quinones-Romero and Jacqueline C. Johnson, toxic exposure experts from the Department of Veterans Affairs. Also on the panel will be Aaron Munz of the Mesothelioma Center and Assistant Veterans Service Officer Buck Carmichael.
Viewers can ask questions or make comments during the live program by scanning the QR code that will appear on the TV screen or calling (925) 313-1170. They can also leave comments prior to or during the live show at facebook.com/veteransvoices1.
There is also the option to make comments or ask questions via email at veteransvoices@contracostatv.org. The experts will answer questions and address comments live, program officials said.
