Jamelia Brown is leading incumbent Melvin Lee Willis Jr. for his District 1 Richmond City Council seat.
Brown had 50.1% of the votes on Wednesday (1,057), soundly winning over Willis (38.05% and 802 votes) and Mark Wassberg (11.81%, 249 votes).
Though the Contra Costa County Election Office said 100% of precincts have been counted, the results are still unofficial.
