Applicants Needed for County Connection Advisory Committee

Contra Costa County is looking for someone to serve on its County Connection advisory committee.

The committee reviews and analyzes issues and policies relating to fixed-route and paratransit service and advises the County Connection Board of Directors accordingly.

The appointee will also act as a citizen liaison from the county.

The committee’s regular meetings occur the first Tuesday of the month at 1:30 p.m. in Concord. This is a volunteer position and the appointment will be for two years, beginning July 1 and ending June 30, 2027.

Applications can be found by calling (925) 655-2000 or by visiting the county webpage at www.contracosta.ca.gov. Applications should be returned to the clerk of the board of supervisors, county administration building, 1025 Escobar St., Martinez, CA 94553 no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, April 25, 2025.

Applicants should plan to be available for public interviews via Zoom on May 27.
