Rep. DeSaulnier, AG Bonta to Hold Virtual Town Hall on Trump Policies

U.S. Rep. Mark DeSaulnier, D-Walnut Creek, is hosting a virtual town hall on Tuesday with California Attorney General Rob Bonta to discuss the impacts of President Donald Trump’s policies.

The discussion will focus on “defending constitutional rights and protecting Californians from the Trump Administration’s harmful policies.”

DeSaulnier and Bonta will talk about successful court challenges and congressional actions aimed at thwarting Trump’s agenda and what can be done “to check the President’s abuses of power.”

Members of the public will be allowed to ask questions during the event, which will be held Tuesday at 5:45 p.m.
