The Antioch Police Department arrested a suspect in connection with the fatal hit-and-run of a 17-year-old girl last month, the department said Tuesday.

On Tuesday, officers executed search warrants at two residences in Pittsburg and Antioch and arrested Jamir Wilson, 26, on suspicion of hit-and-run causing death. Investigators allegedly recovered evidence from both locations.

Jeana Flores was found about 3:30 p.m. on Jan. 23 in the area of L Street between West 18th Street and West 10th Street. The location is near Antioch High School, but Flores is not a student in the Antioch Unified School District, according to police. An autopsy by the Contra Costa County Coroner’s office determined that Flores was hit by a vehicle.

The Antioch Police Department is not releasing any more information about the case at this time.
