Let's play partnerships! Joint Powers agreement between five cities - Richmond, Berkeley, El Cerrito, Albany and Emeryville. Established in 2003, signed city resolution by then mayor Irma Anderson and city manager Malcolm Hunter in 2002. Established agreement for joint use, maintenance and development of Tom Bates regional sports complex operated by the city of Berkeley. Joint use agreement between WCCUSD and city of Richmond. Only formal JUA sports fields authorized between city and school district is Fairmead, Olinda and Valley View. Currently being rewritten. Safe coalition - Safe Athletic Fields for Education resolution from 2012. Agreements between community organizations, city of Richmond and WCCUSD. S. Torres. June 2023
